Yes. Every HS Race Gear karting suit is built to CIK Level 2 specification — the standard karting bodies test for abrasion resistance, tear strength, and seam integrity. Karting doesn't use the SFI rating system that applies to car racing suits.
No. SFI ratings apply to car racing, where fire is the primary risk. Karting runs on CIK-FIA Level 2, which tests abrasion resistance instead, because a kart carries very little fuel and sits inches off the track surface.
